What we do
Primary, Secondary & Higher Education
DPDS's work in primary and secondary education includes PEDP II and PEDP3 civil works supervision, the National Student Assessments NSA 2006 and NSA 2015, and technical support to SESDP (2008–2013). In higher education, it verified DLI results for the College Education Development Project (2021–2022) and conducted the in-depth monitoring study 'Fostering Opportunities of Science Education in Public Colleges' (2023).
Non-Formal Education
DPDS provided consultancy services for capacity building under the Post Literacy and Continuing Education for Human Development Project-2 (PLCEHD-2) for the Bureau of Non-Formal Education. The assignment ran from 2010 to 2012 and was financed by the Asian Development Bank.
Technical & Vocational Education & Training (TVET)
DPDS supported the transformation of TVET institutions into Model TVET Institutions and Centres for Skills Excellence under the Skills-21 Project, for the ILO with European Union funding (2019–2023). Under the ADB-financed Skills for Employment Investment Program, it monitored and evaluated the training programme (2016–2023), carried out the Tranche-1 graduate tracer study (2018–2019) and the external M&E of Tranche 2 (2021–2022).
