What we do
Urban Governance
DPDS is the Independent Verification Agency (IVA) for LGED under the World Bank-funded Improving Urban Governance and Infrastructure Program (IUGIP), December 2023 to June 2028. It also provided consultancy for Governance and Infrastructure Improvement under the JICA-funded City Governance Project for five targeted city corporations (2016–2022).
Monitoring & Evaluation Consultancy Services
DPDS provides monitoring and evaluation for government and donor-funded programmes. Assignments include both phases of ECRRP (World Bank, 2010–2018), the Multipurpose Disaster Shelter Project (World Bank, 2016–2024) and the SEIP training programme (ADB, 2016–2023). It has also carried out in-depth monitoring and impact evaluations for IMED, Ministry of Planning, and third-party monitoring and verification in Nepal and Afghanistan.
Feasibility Studies
DPDS carried out the Feasibility Study of Resilient Infrastructure for Adaptation and Vulnerability Reduction (RIVER) for LGED, funded by the World Bank, from September 2021 to April 2022. It now works on the RIVER Project itself, providing community engagement, mobilisation, resilience and capacity building (2024–2028).
