What we do

1. 01

   Architectural & Structural Design

   DPDS provides architectural and structural design services for public infrastructure. It is currently the detailed design consultant for LGED under the ADB-funded Coastal Towns Climate Resilience Project (CTCRP), December 2024 to June 2028.

2. 02

   Design and Supervision Consultancy Services

   DPDS provided design and supervision consultancy for the LGED part of the Rangpur Division Agriculture and Rural Development Project, financed by the Islamic Development Bank. The main contract ran from January 2022 to December 2023, and a second contract covered the remaining works from January to September 2024.

3. 03

   Supervision & Monitoring of Civil Works

   DPDS supervises and monitors civil works for government and donor-funded programmes. It monitored and supervised the second phase of the Government Primary School Construction Project (Islamic Development Bank, 2006–2008), and civil works and furniture supply under both phases of PEDP II (ADB, 2005–2011). Under PEDP3 it provided independent third-party supervision and quality assurance of civil works (ADB, 2015–2017).

4. 04

   Roads, Bridge & Highway

   Under the World Bank-funded Program for Supporting Rural Bridges (SupRB), DPDS has served LGED as technical agent for result measurement and disbursement-linked indicator verification (2021–2025) and as monitoring and evaluation consultant (2021–2025). For IMED it carried out in-depth monitoring of the Construction of Important Bridges on Rural Roads project (2023) and the Rural Connectivity Improvement Project (2022).

5. 05

   Power & Energy

   DPDS offers consultancy services for power and energy projects.

6. 06

   Railway

   For IMED, Ministry of Planning, DPDS carried out the impact evaluation study of the completed project 'Modernization of Saidpur Railway Workshop' (1st Revised), from December 2018 to April 2019.

7. 07

   Urban & Rural Infrastructure Development

   DPDS supports urban and rural infrastructure programmes for LGED. It prepared master plans for the Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Bandarban and Khagrachari pourashavas under the Upazila Towns Infrastructure Development Project (2014–2016). It provided monitoring and evaluation for the World Bank-funded Multipurpose Disaster Shelter Project (2016–2024) and the Emergency Multi-Sector Rohingya Crisis Response Project (2019–2022, with additional financing 2022–2024).
